Management of implant complications is a challenging situation that implantologists face. Therefore, it is important to gain knowledge of implant complications, their management and prevention. The presentation will also touch on the benefits of guided surgery, as well as the prevention and manegement of both surgical and prosthetic complications. This presentation is taylored for all dental professionals who place and restore implants.

Dr. Boyer is a passionate clinician and educator. He got his dental degree from UCLA School of Dentistry in 2008, and continued his training at Cedars Sinai Medical Center and the VA Hospital, focusing on comprehensive treatment planning, dental and implant surgery, implant restorations and medically complex and compromised patients.Dr. Boyer lectures nationally and internationally on the topics of implant dentistry, implant surgery, guided implant surgery, full arch removable and fixed implantology, and ceramic dental implants. Dr. Boyer is credentialed as a Master of the International Congress of Oral Implantology, and is a board member of the International Academy of Oral Ceramic Implantology. Since 2011, Dr. Boyer has been a faculty member at UCLA School of Dentistry, teaching dental students, residents and also CE courses to practicing dentists.
